Enjoy Existing
You were born knowing how to do this.
Then, somewhere along the way, you learned that feeling good is something you had to earn.
Read the Book →I found your Enjoy Existing book in a free library. It was a serendipitous discovery, just when I needed this kind of support. I really enjoyed reading it. I signed up for the course and it’s been truly a life saver to listen to every morning as I am processing a heart break — a life altering grief of loosing the love of my life — and finding myself in the process. I am grateful for your generosity of sharing your work for free. Thank you for your wonderful support. It is helping me to change my life for the better.

Do what you actually want to do.
When you can feel the difference between what genuinely draws you and what you think you should want, motivation stops being something you need to force.
Feel good being you.
Your emotions aren't problems to manage. They're information. When you treat them that way, a natural confidence shows up. The kind that comes from trusting your own experience.
Create something that matters.
When you stop spending your energy managing yourself, you get it back. What you do with it is up to you.

“There’s a whole new experience to living when you’re able to set down all that is inauthentic to you. The energy and aliveness that arise in the wake of that really do set you up for doing your life’s work. And not just that, but having the life you really, deeply want.”

Letters
These letters are from readers of the book and the Runway.
I just finished reading your book and I really, really, really enjoyed the closing of it. The conversation between Maya and Eleanor and the thought process — I think that was really a fantastic roundup of all the ideas presented in the book. And also, it was, to be perfectly honest, the first time that I have really felt like I was enough. There were all these rational ways I was trying to explain to myself that I am enough. I never really quite believed them, but I think this whole idea that all of your past behavior — what you've done, haven't done, et cetera — is a result of your own guidance system working in the best interest for you. And it was never wrong. And therefore, you did really the best for yourself at the time, given the circumstances, right? It's quite powerful. It's quite powerful. Thank you. Thank you for sharing this.

Enjoy Existing feels like the journey I want to be on. I needed this reminder that my emotions can be a source of inspiration. Following the examples in the book has helped me to better see myself and who I want to become.

Hi Eric, the emotional inbox concept has been going incredibly well, helping me understand wtf is going on when I wake up frazzled in the middle of night. My inner world makes more sense now. Also, I had no idea I could put aside an emotion and a new one would pop up. I'm like, how did you know that? I didn't learn it in my psychology PhD.

I just listened to Day 1 and I probably listened to it well over five times, in addition to going back on sections to figure them out. I'm just so compelled by this, by awareness and by the molecular level on which you're breaking down this process. I'm excited at the prospect of dropping into my experience in a more spacious, attentive way. I'm really appreciative to be here, to be privy to your book and these recordings. I look forward to this. Big thank you.

Hi Eric, I wanted to share what's been happening since I started. After that first online session, my body knew I was supposed to be there. All my life I've been training to strengthen my consciousness and awareness, to be as conscious as possible and less of a drone. What's standing out most is the 'experimentation' of it all. I love science — being a scientist as well as the subject in my very own study about me. Some things I'm noticing: I'm playing better chess. I've slowed down my speech. Less self-conscious and more self-aware with less judgment. Moments of peace, less pushing and more gliding into things. Time seems to be expanding. I'm also starting to notice how sensitive I am to negative feedback about my work. I'm so aware of it now. Oh the other day, I was very triggered by something. I noticed it right away. The noticing kept me just in that buzzy moment without it escalating. It was reallllly nice :)
